MARIO O’HARA was born on April 20, 1946 in Zamboanga City. He grew up behind the slums of Pasay City. He started working as a radio actor at the age of 17. He then went on to act in early TV productions for Channel 11 and Channel 2. He made his first feature film Mortal in 1975. He made several other films like Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos, Bulaklak ng City Jail, Sisa, Fatima Buen, and Babae sa Breakwater which was his most recent film produced. At present, he is set to appear in Checkov’s Three Sisters for Tanghalang Pilipino.
