Nenok, a nine-year-old street kid in Malolos, Bulacan adopts the city’s historic Barasoain Church as a temporary home and his personal space for mischief to the distress and annoyance of Mang Johnny, the stern parish groundskeeper.

About the Director

ROMMEL TOLENTINO aka ‘MILO’ is a Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival multi-awardee, a Gawad Urian winner and the first Filipino to win in the prestigious Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival, and to take the first SONJE Award in the Pusan International Film Festival in South Korea. His film feature film “NONO” competed at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize at the 9th Skipcity International D-Cinema Film Festival in Japan.

A recipient of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals Award,  and a Kidlat Tahimik’s Bamboo Camera Award, Milo was also awarded a Special Citation by the National Council For Children’s Television and the Philippines’ Department of Education and an Indie Bravo Award of Distinction by the Philippine Daily Inquirer. He took up Communication Arts at the UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS and later took film studies at the UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES FILM INSTITUTE, DILIMAN.  Milo is also an accomplished Writer, Cinematographer and Editor.
