Bagahe Bags 3 Awards At The Festival International Du Film Transsaharien De Zagora

Bagahe by Zig Dulay took home three major awards at the 2018 Festival International du Film Transsaharien de Zagora in Morocco!

The award-winning Cinemalaya 2017 film got the Best Actress award for Angeli Bayani and the Critic’s Special Mention and People’s Choice Award.

Bagahe is about a former Overseas Filipina worker (played by Angeli Bayani), who is being implicated in a crime that occurred during her return to the Philippines and is brought by authorities to the country’s capital to prove her innocence. The film was awarded Best Screenplay during the Cinemalaya 2017 Awards Night while Angeli Bayani bagged the Best Actress Award for her performance in the film.
