LOGLINE

Set in Camiguin Island, Mindanao, the film centers on 40 year-oldLando, a ‘lapida’ (gravestone) maker, and his 15 year-old son, Bugoy. They were both called in by the high school principal because Bugoy has not been reporting to his classes. Desperate, Lando tries everything to persuade his delinquent son to go to school. Then Bugoy changes his mind but on the condition that his father, a high school drop-out, would return to school as well. Bugoy was surprised when Lando got himself enrolled and became the laughingstock of the entire school. Amidst the struggles between father and son, an unexpected event changes everything.
