SCHOOL SERVICE joins the 2018 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival

Luisito Ignacio’s SCHOOL SERVICE will be part of the 2018 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia under the Forum Section.

SCHOOL SERVICE follows the story of Maya, a young girl taken against her will from the province and placed as a beggar in Manila by a small-time syndicate. It stars Ai-Ai delas Alas, Joel Lamangan, Celine Juan, Therese Malvar, Felixia Dizon, Joe Gruta, Kenken Nuyad, Kevin Sagra, Santino Oquendo, and Ace Café.

This is the second time that Ignacio joins Cinemalaya. In 2014, his film ASINTADO is part of the festival’s Directors Showcase category.
